What is an Interview Coach?
Interview Strategy > Practice > Confidence > Great Interview > New Job!
I love doing this type of coaching, because it is very focused and tangible. I started as a recruiter at Robert Half, where I got great training and experience, including salary negotiations and getting the job offer. Don’t be nervous if you have an interview scheduled for next Thursday!
Credentials
I am a Certified Employment Interview Professional (CEIP). There are only about 85 of us in the country! I have 12 years experience and great success in helping people get their new jobs!
What do you need for your next interview?
- You have an important interview coming up, and can’t afford to “blow it”.
- You haven’t interviewed for years (and possibly for a different type of job), so you are nervous.
- You interviewed recently, but didn’t get the job offer. Your next interview has to go much better.
- You don’t know how to research a company and prospective employer. (I can do some of this research for you.)
- You don’t really understand the basic principles of the interview process, so you don’t know how to prepare.
- You are not sure how to effectively handle negotations for your salary and other compensation.
- You have specific and sensitive issues you do not know how to handle properly such as a recent termination, bad references, unanticipated job movement, employment gaps, and age.
- You just don’t like the idea of interviewing at all!
How Does It Work?
For a specific opportunity, send me the job posting and your resume to review. Most coaching takes about an hour with 90% strategy, and 100% role playing. I will help you research the industry, the company, and the people involved with your interviews. I can then teach you how to do this on your own. Of course we will put together strategies on salary negotiations and your interview follow-up.
